Subclass 300 Prospective Marriage visa
This visa must be lodged offshore, this visa allows the main applicant to marry the sponsor who holds Australian citizenship or permanent resident. You are allowed to marry the sponsor in or outside of Australia but the wedding ceremony must be within the visa duration. This visa allows you to work and study without limitation. You are not eligible for Medicare health insurance while holding this visa you will need to pay for health insurance with an Australian health insurance provider. You are allowed to stay in Australia for 9 months, you will be able to transition to onshore partner visa (Subclass 820) before your visa expired OR you will be able to lodge for an offshore partner (Subclass 309) once you are outside of Australia. Your partner visa application will not be granted just because you have had a subclass 300, you still need to provide proof of your relationship.Subclass 300 Visa Checklist For Main Applicant:
