Living 30-Minute Away From Canberra?
ACT State Nomination Eligibility
You are still eligible for ACT nomination if you are living in regional NSW within 30-minute commute to your workplace in Canberra. You can claim residence points as you will be treated as living in ACT.
Because the applicant will be treated as Canberra residence, you will be able to claim residency points for Canberra matrix as follows:
- 5 years+ (25 Points)
- 4 – 5 years (20 Points)
- 3 – 4 years (15 Points)
- 2 – 3 years (10 Points)
- 1 – 2 years (5 Points)
